GreenVolts develops utility scale power systems (2-20 MW) using state-of-the-art technology to achieve the world’s highest solar-to-electricity conversion efficiency. The installations consist of a number of networked platforms each with a number of solar collectors. The 19’ diameter platforms track the sun in both azimuth and elevation.
REM’s Role
REM architected the pointing control and communication network systems and also developed the associated electronics and firmware. REM passed off the design to Greenvolts for the manufacturing phase.
