Access One System

Access One is a remote keyless entry system developed for the Kwikset Corporation and designed to replace a household deadbolt.

REM’s Role

REM developed the firmware for the Access One Deadbolt (shown) as well as the other products in the line (Key Fob, Wireless Keypad, and Remote Light Module). The firmware runs on a PIC microcontroller and uses Microchips KEELOQ encoding scheme.
